1. Information we process
Gold Toolkit may process information you choose to enter or create inside the app, including scan results, magnetic readings, density measurements, calculator values, notes, favorites and locally saved history.
2. Camera and photos
The Hallmark Scanner and Magnifier use your device camera when you grant permission. The AI Visual Lab may process a photo you select through the Android photo picker. Camera images and selected photos are used to provide the requested feature. The app does not require broad access to your full photo library.
3. Device sensors
The app may access supported device sensors such as the magnetometer and accelerometer for magnetic readings, compass direction and bubble-level functions. Sensor data is used to provide live readings and is not a certified material test.
4. Flashlight
The flashlight and camera torch functions control the rear camera flash when supported by your device. The app checks hardware availability before using this feature.
5. Local storage
Scan history, settings, theme, language and other preferences may be stored locally on your device. Some settings may use encrypted local storage. Removing the app can remove locally stored information unless it has been exported or backed up.
6. Firebase services
If Firebase is configured and enabled, Gold Toolkit may use Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config and Cloud Messaging. Cloud backup can store scan-history records under the authenticated Firebase user. Analytics and diagnostic reporting can be controlled through the app settings where available.
7. Advertising and consent
The app may use Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform. Advertising requests are made only after consent information is processed where required. Ad providers may process device identifiers and usage data according to their own policies and your consent choices.
8. Live price services
The Gold Value Calculator may request market-price information from a configured external API. The app may send the selected currency and request data needed to retrieve the price. Manually entered prices remain under your control.
9. Sharing and exports
When you use Share, PDF export or JSON export, Android lets you choose the receiving app or file location. Gold Toolkit does not control how a third-party app handles information after you share it.
10. Permissions
Depending on the features you use, the app may request camera and notification permissions. A permission is requested only when required for the related feature. You can change permissions in Android settings.
11. Children
Gold Toolkit is a general utility app and is not designed to collect personal information from children. Users should follow the age and audience declarations shown on the app-store listing.
12. Data security
Reasonable safeguards are used, including encrypted preferences for supported settings and secure Android sharing mechanisms. No electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure.
13. Your choices
- Disable optional analytics or diagnostic reporting in Settings where available.

- Export your records before deleting the app.
- Use privacy options to update advertising consent where available.
